Out of BATON ROUGE, LA (source: wafb.com):
Here is a little sweet justice coming at you from Louisiana. A home owner defended himself and his property, after Jermoid Wheeler broke in.
Jermoid was released 5 years early, back in June of 2014. He should still be in prison right now – and I bet he wishes he still was.
The Home Invasion
It happened at around 10 AM local time. Wheeler broke into the man’s house while the man was sleeping.
The homeowner heard the noises at the back door and grabbed his gun. He yelled at Wheeler to stop but he was able to pry open the door with a crowbar.
Wheeler was wielding a crowbar and kept coming at the man. So as you can guess the man shot Wheeler down.
The image below from WAFB shows the coroner on the scene.
The Accomplice
31-year-old Jermoid Wheeler was not acting alone – his wife was waiting in the truck. Deneatrice Cage-Wheeler heard the gun shot and ran into the house.
She took the crowbar and then headed back out to the truck.
She was questioned and then booked on charges of aggravated burglary and second degree murder. Cage-Wheeler claims they were looking at houses to buy.
It’s never a happy situation…
It’s never a happy situation when someone dies. But I think we can all agree that the good guys won this round. If you live in the East Baton Rouge Parish, raise a glass to this man that reminded thugs like Jermoid to think twice before trying to break into a home.
